Middle School Musical – The Grunch

The Middle School Theatre Classes will be performing the musical The Grunch, this Friday at 4 p.m.Online ticket price for adults and non-Pinewood students is $5 (click here); $7 at the door. Students and faculty can reserve their FREE ticket using their ID# as the online discount code.

Middle School Glow Dance Party

The Middle School Glow Dance Party will be held on Friday, May 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Freedom Hall. Students are invited to come decked out in neon or white and prepare to SHINE bright all night! 

Tickets are $10 (cash/check made out to PPS) and can be purchased from Ms. Shelton during break or lunch through Thursday, May 9. Tickets will be $15 at the door.

Tickets for non-Pinewood guests are $15. IMPORTANT: Any non-Pinewood guest must be in middle school (6th-8th grade) and are subject to approval by Ms. Shelton and Dr. Ringley. Guest forms must be turned in to Ms. Shelton by Thursday, May 9. No guests will be allowed without prior approval. Guest forms can be obtained in Ms. Shelton’s room (#11) and/or in the front office.

CHS Girls Lacrosse Clinics at Pinewood – Saturdays in May

CHS is hosting girls lacrosse clinics at Pinewood coming up on Saturdays – May 4, 11 & 18 from 4 – 5 PM; Kindergarten – 5th Grade; $50; sticks and goggles will be provided if you don’t have your own. Register online at https://www.chslacrosse.com/!

Clarification on Uniform Update Regarding Skirts

A single purchasing option has been discontinued, which is the ‘Above the Knee’ skirt. The uniform guideline remains the same – all skirts, skorts, shorts, dresses and jumpers are required to be within three inches from the top of the knee or below.

Community Service Hours

The deadline for middle school students to enter community service hours in FACTS to be eligible for the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Community Service Awards is May 3rd.  Community service award categories are:

Bronze:  70-119 hours

Silver:    120-169 hours

Gold:    More than 169 hours

Community service hours are not required for middle school students.

Bidding for Auction Items Opens Wednesday

Pinewoodstock is Almost Here

Don’t miss the best concert of the year! Pinewoodstock is this Thursday, April 25 at 6 PM in Freedom Hall. Students in the High School Music Tech Program have been working hard on their compilations and solo performances to put on one heck of a show. Concert is free!

Summer Soccer CampEnglish Premier League Arsenal FC

English Premier League giants Arsenal FC will be running a one-week soccer camp at Pinewood from June 24 – 28. Camp is designed for boys and girls ages 7 to 14 of all abilities. The camp gives young players access to official Arsenal coaches and the same successful training methods used at the Arsenal Academy in London. Training sessions have been designed for players to improve the fundamental techniques of soccer with repetition and at match tempo. Players will be given a complete perspective on soccer tactics to understand each role and position and how they are related. All in a fun and supportive environment.
