College Night (Grades 10-12)

Parents of students in grades 10-12 are invited to hear from Guidance Director Brendan Diffley and Head of School Steve Mandell at College Night, Thursday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. in Smith Hall. The informational session will last about one hour.

Halloween Grams Begin Friday!

Halloween Grams to support the HS Student Government Association go on sale on Friday, Oct. 14. No orders will be taken after Wednesday, Oct. 26. Please download and print the order form and return it to your child’s homeroom teacher. Halloween Grams will be delivered in homeroom on Friday, Oct. 28. Halloween Grams are $2 each and may either consist of candy or small toys.

Sign-ups for JV and Varsity Girls’ Basketball

Community Service Hours Opportunity – Family Focus Night

What: Play board/card games with kids while teaching good sportsmanship skills. (Training and food is provided for volunteers!)
When: The second Friday of every month starting Friday, Nov. 11 (Nov. 11, Jan. 13, Feb. 10, March 10, May 12)

School Traffic Update

Our traffic duty officers would like drivers to “tighten the gaps” between cars when waiting on Willow Oaks. They need everyone’s help in getting more traffic off of Orangeburg Road.  Please also indicate your turn with your turn signal to help the officers direct traffic.

PRIDE Lacrosse Clinics for Girls

All girls ages 6-13 are invited to attend the PRIDE Lacrosse Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $20 per session (discount available for multiple sessions). The first 15 registrants will be able to borrow a lacrosse stick from the PRIDE club. Beginners to experienced players are welcome! Click here to download the full flyer and registration form. The Office of Naval Research’s Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program application is now open. High school students can open an application at the SEAP website http://seap.asee.org/.
